This fun and social workshop, hosted by Art of Recycle, involves creating little dollies from odds and ends of baubles and thingamabobs. Make a small doll into a key chain or a necklace pendant, or make a larger doll into a toy. AoR has such a large inventory of baubles and trinkets that your imagination is the only limit.
This workshop includes the creation of two dolls. Additional dolls cost $5.
AoR staff will teach you how to create a junk drawer doll with bits and pieces of scrap jewelry, hardware and other objects that you might find in your junk drawer. Using provided materials, AoR staff will guide you into creating up to two dolls with recycled materials.

Art of Recycle workshop materials are made up of items that the public donates to Art of Recycle in order to help us sustain our efforts of operating our non-profit community art center. Because of our wide variety of inventory, given items are only available in limited quantities. Each junk drawer doll is made is going to be uniquely different from the other. The doll that you make will not look exactly like any of the dolls in the photos.
You are welcome to bring accessories with you to add to your doll and make it more personal. You do not need to bring anything with you at all, as we provide all of the necessary supplies for you.
