Crafting parties are best suited for children 4 years and up. Our STEAM Center space permits 40 guests maximum per event.
A finger puppet birthday party is great for four to eight year old birthday parties. Your guests will be crafting their own puppets and putting on their own puppet shows with AoR staff's assistance! You'll discover that iittle kids imaginations aren't as little as they are! Great for large groups!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Field Trips for schools, daycare center, youth groups, non-profit centers:
AoR provides field trip crafting and/or volunteering events for ages 4 and up. AoR provides staff to teach and instruct the workshop, your center is responsible for providing an appropriate number of staff to care for the individual needs of your students. AoR provides the materials for the crafts, tables and chairs and the proper safety equipment (goggles, gloves, etc.) Please let parents know to dress their children in play clothes when they are doing messy crafts that may stain their clothing. AoR is not responsible for damages to students clothing. Our facility is handicap accessible. Our facility provides restrooms (handicap accessible) available for your students and staff to use. AoR also provides drinking water from our water cooler.
Private birthday and other parties:
A two hour party with a craft of your choices included. All materials for the craft is included in the booking price. Up to twenty guests per event, Call us for a quote if you have a larger guest list. AoR provides an instructor who will teach a workshop during your event. Art of Recycle's STEAM Center has fantastic decor, but you may bring your own party decorations to set up (no piñatas). AoR provides tables and chairs, you may bring table coverings for them. Art of Recycle does not provide food or beverages but you are welcome to bring food to your party. Art of Recycle does provide drinking water from our water cooler and our kitchen has a refrigerator and freezer to store food during your event. Our facility is handicap accessible. Our facility has two restrooms (handicap accessible) for you and your guests to use.
GENERAL PARTY FEES:
Art of Recycle charges $200 for a basic two hour crafting party with up to 20 guests. Parties include use of the Activity Room rented and the materials used to make each craft. Each crafting party is supervised and instructed by AoR staff members, but we encourage parents to be involved in making their child's experience an amazing one.
Do you need an extended birthday party? Art of Recycle can extend your time in half hour increments.
FIELD TRIP FEES

Art of Recycle requires a $50 non-refundable deposit in advance to secure your date. All remaining charges are due on the day of the event. The client must pay for the time booked even if the client uses Art of Recycle's services for less time. After confirming availability of the date with Art of Recycle through email or phone a completed contract and deposit must be submitted promptly and within three days or the Client runs the risk of losing that date. Art of Recycle accepts online payment through PayPal. Art of Recycle accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and cash on location. Art of Recycle does not accept private checks. There is a $40 fee for any returned checks or charges.
In the case of inclement weather, we can move the date of your event to a another suitable date without any additional fees.
Art of Recycle does not refund deposits made for events booked in our facility. Your deposit is a processing fee and prepping fee for your event.
Should you need to reschedule your event, please do so at least four (4) weeks prior and we will make every effort to meet your needs. If you need to cancel the event, you must cancel at least four (4) weeks prior to the event or you will have to pay the total amount contracted to Art of Recycle. We do not offer refunds for inclement weather, we can only change the date. If Art of Recycle artists were to become sick or have to cancel for any reason other than inclement weather, the client will be refunded a full refund or Art of Recycle will find a replacement artist of equal qualification.
The client agrees to obey and to inform all guests to obey all rules set by Art of Recycle and our staff. No climbing, running, jumping, bullying, or foul language is permitted. Our facility is a crafting facility, not a gymnasium. Our floors are made of tile for easy clean up of crafting materials, they are not soft for falling on. Under no circumstance will Art of Recycle supervise children. Their behavior and safety is the client’s and/or parents’ responsibility only.
The client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries caused by client, guests or animals, and/or any damage to Art of Recycle's equipment, displays, tools or supplies caused by clients or guests.
EXTREME WORKING CONDITIONS
Art of Recycle has the right to ask you or your guests to leave Art of Recycle without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions included but not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, adult or pet; illegal activities; or otherwise dangerous situations or conditions caused by the client or their guests.
BY PAYING A DEPOSIT YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS OF OUR CONTRACT.
