Your Donations Are Needed For:

Teaching Resources

Your donations of teaching supplies will be given to teachers and other non-profits to help keep their program costs affordable so that they can teach to the best of their capabilities.

Donations are needed to stock AoR's Thrifty Craft Store which raises funding to keep our programs free and low-cost. Our store is a discount school supply shop as well as artist and craft materials.

Your Donations Go A Long Way

Art of Recycle is creating and developing an outreach program that could very well change the way people think about their stuff.

We rescue items that would otherwise have ended up in the landfill, we convert them into funding to better individual lives and our local community. We use a portion of donations to develop programs that teach skills and build confidence. We utilize your donations and excess to support other organizations and teachers who are also in need of resources and funding. We work hard and do our best in striving for a better future for our children.

We use your discarded items to heal and grow community..

Art of Recycle accepts almost everything when it comes to donations. We are a Community Art Center, not just a thrift store, stuff that you might normally consider junk could actually be a significant art material.

Small bags of donations can be brought in the front door and carried to the back receiving area where volunteers/staff can process them. There is no limit on how much or how little you may donate.

Art of Recycle does not accept E-Waste or HHW, but we know who does.

Numerous materials used in the home, garage and garden are considered household hazardous waste (HHW). They can cause serious safety and health problems in transportation and for disposal facilities. Lancaster County residents can use LCSWMA’s HHW Facility for FREE. LCSWMA accepts paint, cleaners, motor oil, antifreeze, pesticides, herbicides, computers, TVs, cell phones, fluorescent bulbs and more.
